You(th) and the 2024 European elections: a survey to understand the issues of young Europeans
In February 2024 INDIRE Erasmus NA launched a survey within PEACE project for young European citizens to understand their real interest in European issues and to get to know their needs in depth, with the idea that they might become part of the European political agenda.
The questionnaire You(th) and the 2024 European elections, has been developed in the occasion of the elections for the European Parliament, scheduled from 6 to 9 June, 2024.
The short survey addresses young Europeans aged 16 to 35 years old to understand their point of view.
The key points of the questionnaire are youth issues, such as problems with housing, youth unemployment and precarity on the job market, as well as the rising costs of living. In general, the survey also wants to understand what young people think about the European elections and the European Union.
The questionnaire, in English, was developed by Paul Blokker, professor of Political Sociology at Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna, together with a pool of researchers.
The results of the survey will be part of the P.E.A.C.E. research.
