In view of European Elections 2024, a set of didactic E-modules videos “Participate in Europe” was developed in order to spread knowledge about democratic participation, European institutions, integration process and many other themes, dealt in relationship with international mobility and Erasmus+ Programme.
The e-modules are addressed to a broad audience and ready to use!
A survey about Youth participation and European Elections is running until 10th June 2024 and results will be part of the Peace research outputs.
In the end, the initiative Erasmus goes to town has become part of some transnational events: an opportunity to visit schools and learning centers with Erasmus+ Ambassadors in order to spread the Programme opportunities and stories and to help promoting reflection on European values.
The LTA PEACE has placed territorial networks (ambassadors, alumni, role models) at the core of its mission, cutting across sectors not only to promote mobility and internationalization programs (Erasmus, eTwinning, Epale) but also to foster and harmonize, across local territories, a stronger sense of active belonging to Europe and support for the values of the European Community.
Two key tools have been developed to achieve these goals:
Territorial Networks: This initiative aims to connect stakeholders from the School, Higher Education, and Adult Education sectors within consistent territorial areas (in Italy, the administrative regions have been identified as the reference level). The objective is to facilitate the exchange of best practices, promote collaboration, and provide mutual support in implementing shared actions. The network is designed to extend to other National Agencies (NAs) that have established similar networks.
Ambassadors Dashboard: Currently focused exclusively on the School sector, this tool provides ambassadors with data on local schools, including trends in student population, socio-economic context, and their participation in Erasmus and eTwinning programs during the last two European programming periods (2013–2020 and 2021–2027). The goal is to assist ambassadors in organizing events aimed at engaging schools with low or no participation in EU programs, particularly those located in challenging socio-economic environments where civic engagement, democratic participation, and a sense of European identity and values may be weaker.
