Il progetto PEACE si arricchisce di un nuovo step e arriva in Portogallo. L’attività europea di lungo termine (LTA) coordinata dall’Agenzia nazionale Erasmus+ INDIRE e dedicata al Civic engagement e ai valori europei, sarà in scena a Lisbona dal 31 ottobre al 2 novembre 2024.
Una tre giorni di incontri, networking ed eventi culturali, organizzata dall’Agência Nacional Erasmus+ Educação e Formação del Portogallo, che coinvolgerà più di 120 ospiti internazionali di oltre 10 Paesi, dei settori Educazione degli adulti, Istruzione scolastica, VET-Vocational Education and Training e Istruzione superiore. L’evento, dal titolo Exploring Networks Across Sectors and Establishing A European Community, culminerà con il concerto dell’ErasmusOrchestra, previsto sabato 2 novembre 2024 presso l’auditorium della Escola Superior de Música de Lisbona.
L’agenda prevede, tra le altre, una sessione dedicata a come lavorare sul Civic engagement curata da Paul Blokker, professore di Sociologia Politica all’Università di Bologna, oltre a vari interventi da parte del network degli Ambasciatori Erasmus+. Ma anche lavori di gruppo sull’impegno civico in Europa e un focus sulla democrazia in Portogallo, a 50 anni dalla cosiddetta Rivoluzione dei garofani (Revolução dos cravos) del 25 aprile 1974.
La conferenza internazionale inserita nel progetto PEACE prevede anche un focus culturale con la visita al Convento do Camo di Lisbona e un momento di approfondimento sulla cultura locale portoghese, tramite l’iconico genere di musica popolare Fado.
Le giornate di eventi si terranno all’interno della Lisbon School of Education nel campus di Benfica, in una struttura adiacente alla scuola superiore di musica, dove ci sarà l’esibizione dell’ensemble musicale composto da studenti dei Conservatori e Istituti musicali europei, coinvolti in un’esperienza di mobilità internazionale Erasmus.

PEACE project grows up and in Portugal works with education networks to strengthen European civic engagement
The PEACE project is enriched with a new step and arrives in Portugal. The European long-term activity (LTA) coordinated by the Erasmus+ Italian National Agency INDIRE and dedicated to Civic engagement and European values, will be on stage in Lisbon from 31 October to 2 November 2024.
The event is a three-day of meetings, networking and cultural activities, organized by the Agência Nacional Erasmus+ Educação e Formação of Portugal, which will involve more than 120 international guests from over 10 countries, from the sectors of Adult Education, School Education, VET-Vocational Education and Training and Higher Education. The event, entitled Exploring Networks Across Sectors and Establishing A European Community, will culminate with the ErasmusOrchestra concert, scheduled for Saturday 2 November 2024 at the auditorium of the Escola Superior de Música de Lisbon.
The agenda includes, among others, a session on how to work on Civic engagement curated by Paul Blokker, professor of Political Sociology at the University of Bologna, as well as various contributions by the Erasmus+ Ambassadors network. But the agenda includes also group works on civic engagement in Europe and a focus on democracy in Portugal, 50 years after the so-called Carnation Revolution (Revolução dos cravos) of 25 April 1974.
The international conference, part of the PEACE project, also includes a cultural focus with a visit to the Convento do Camo in Lisbon and a moment of in-depth study on local Portuguese culture, through the iconic genre of popular music Fado.
The days of conference will be held inside the Lisbon School of Education on the Benfica campus, in a building adjacent to the High School of Music, where there will be a performance by the musical ensemble composed of students from European Conservatories and Music Institutes, involved in an Erasmus international mobility experience.
