Un evento con quasi 2mila giovani dell’Erasmus Generation Meeting 2024, sulle note dell’Orchestra Erasmus. Oltre a una nuova tappa della iniziativa PEACE con il seminario organizzato dall’Agenzia spagnola SEPIE, un importante momento di confronto sull’impegno civico e la partecipazione alla vita democratica, tema prioritario per Erasmus+ 2021-2027.
L’Agenzia nazionale Erasmus+ INDIRE sarà protagonista a Siviglia, dal 3 al 6 aprile 2024, con una serie di appuntamenti strategici. In primis, la partecipazione all’Erasmus Generation Meeting 2024, la più grande conferenza studentesca in Europa organizzata da Erasmus Student Network, anche con lo scopo di raccoglierne il testimone in vista dell’appuntamento del prossimo anno che si svolgerà in Italia. L’evento, dove annualmente la Generazione Erasmus si incontra per imparare e discutere del futuro della mobilità, sarà infatti ospitato nel 2025 ad Ancona, dal 3 al 7 aprile.
Il prossimo 4 aprile, all’interno dello spazio eventi e conferenze Fibes della città spagnola, durante la cerimonia di apertura del Meeting, si esibirà l’Orchestra Erasmus, progetto nato nel 2017 in occasione dei 30 anni di Erasmus, su iniziativa dell’Agenzia nazionale Erasmus+ INDIRE. Tra gli interventi istituzionali in programma durante lo stesso evento anche quello del vicepresidente della Commissione europea Margaritis Schinas, che introdurrà la giornata dopo il video saluto della Presidente della Commissione Ursula von der Leyen.
L’appuntamento clou sarà il seminario transnazionale Civic participation and EU values. Make Europe shine! (Facciamo splendere l’Europa!), l’evento organizzato da SEPIE, l’Agenzia nazionale Erasmus+ spagnola, dove sono attesi 150 partecipanti da 20 diversi Paesi, per momenti di approfondimento tematico e networking, per rafforzare la consapevolezza del contributo di Erasmus+ alla costruzione dell’identità europea, anche in vista delle prossime elezioni europee di giugno 2024. Tra le attività in programma anche “Erasmus goes to town” che porterà le delegazioni internazionali composte da Ambasciatori, Alumni, giovani, docenti, educatori in visita in scuole e centri educativi nella città di Siviglia per condividere storie, esperienze, opportunità Erasmus+ e riflessioni sulla cittadinanza europea.
La Conferenza rientra tra le attività dell’iniziativa PEACE – Participation Erasmus Alumni for Civic Engagement, una cooperazione di lungo termine (LTA) coordinata dall’Agenzia nazionale Erasmus+ INDIRE dal 2022, con l’obiettivo di sviluppare momenti di confronto con una rete di stakeholder del Programma, sul tema dell’impegno civico e della partecipazione alla vita democratica, in collaborazione con le Agenzie nazionali Erasmus+ di 11 Paesi.

Erasmus+ at the heart of Civic participation and EU Values with PEACE Project and the Erasmus Orchestra in Seville
The Long term cooperation activity PEACE – Partcipation Erasmus Alumni for Civic Engagement – which focusses on the Erasmus+ Program and its relation to civic
engagement, political participation, and European citizenship, reaches one of its key event in Spain.
PEACE is coordinated by Italian Erasmus+ National Agency
INDIRE and led in cooperation with 11 Erasmus+ National Agencies.
From 3rd to 5th April, Seville will host the TCA (training cooperation activity) seminar “Civic participation and EU values. Make Europe shine!” organized by SEPIE Servicio Español para la Internacionalización de la Educación, the Spanish Erasmus+ National Agency.
More than 150 participants, teachers, educators, Erasmus+ Ambassadors and Alumni, and staff from National Agencies from 20 different countries will work together and share views on Civic engagement and European values through networking activities, focus groups and workshops guided by experts and researchers on these themes.
The seminar agenda foresees the activity “Erasmus goes to town”, a dissemination experience that will take international delegations in 15 schools and educational centers in Seville to share stories, experiences, Erasmus+ opportunities and engage in a dialogue about European citizenship.
On April 4th the TCA participants will join the Seville EGM – Erasmus Generation Meeting 2024, the most important European Erasmus students conference, that will gather more than 2000 young people in Fibes Conference venue. In the same place the event “Erasmus+ event: dissemination of the EU values” will take place with the concert of the Erasmus Orchestra at the presence of Vice President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas, and of Spanish Educational Authorities and with the video message by Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.
The Erasmus Orchestra project was born in 2017, on the occasion of the Erasmus+ 30 years, on initiative of the Italian Erasmus+ National Agency INDIRE. The Orchestra has just expanded its unique European dimension, with the participation of many European Conservatories.
